And your invoices should include the following information about the assignment: the number of words (or other unit type agreed upon); source and target languages; the type of assignment (translation, proofreading, etc.); your rate per word (or hour, or other fee arrangement agreed upon); your bank details (for bank transfers within the UK), or your PayPal account (including your PayPal e-mail address) for translators residing outside of the UK.
To expedite payments to you:
We suffered the loss of a key staff member in the Accounting Dept. quite unexpectedly and almost at the same time our e-mail server crashed, causing us to lose many messages which we were unable to recover. These circumstances brought about delays in payments which were unavoidable. We apologize for delays that may have occurred with any of your invoices. We are doing our best to catch up and we have now been able to liquidate up to 70% of overdue invoices. We sincerely hope to process and pay the remaining 30% still overdue in the shortest period of time possible. We are putting on extra staff to help us process invoices so we can keep on track.
UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES BY ProZ

We are of the opinion that ProZ may be using unfair trade practices because it does not report on payments made to translators who may have experienced a delay in getting payment, and it has deprived us of the opportunity to conduct business in a fair manner by unilaterally cancelling our service contract with it, without prior discussion or any effort on the part of ProZ to investigate the true status of payments being made to translators. Furthermore, ProZ has failed to update the information posted to its site, giving the false impression that complaints go unattended. We are consulting with legal counsel and we are contacting both UK and EU authorities to report what we consider to be unfair trade practices, a violation of our right to conduct business without being smeared by slander campaigns, and the abusive and irresponsible nature of ProZ postings and the subsequent failure to amend information or otherwise update it.
